NRG Holdings Incorporated Is a 100 percent Guyanese consortium of locally-owned businesses — Hadi’s World Incorporated; National Hardware Guyana Limited and ZRN Investments Incorporated. The trio came together for the development of the Port of Vreed-en-Hoop project, a state-of-the-art facility which will service all industries.  The project was conceptualized between the local consortium and their partner, Jan De Nul, a Belgian company that specializes in offshore, marine, civil, environment and project development

This will be Guyana’s first modern multi-purpose port and will be located at Plantation Best in Region Three. It will feature massive facilities such as an offshore terminal; fabrication, umbilical and spooling yards; a dry dock facility; a wharf and berths and administrative buildings, among others.

This project is expected to benefit thousands of citizens through income generating opportunities and job creation. It will increase Guyana’s competitiveness since it will result in increased efficiency in shipping and logistics services and a reduction in the time spent to administrate these processes due to centralization within a single modern facility.
